HEAD OF CONTRACT AND PROCUREMENT UAE The Head of Contract and Procurement will be responsible for leading the contracting and procurement functions of the organization, ensuring that contract and procurement activities are carried out in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures. This management role will oversee the preparation and negotiation of all contracts and develop contract management strategies and processes, whilst following up on contract lifecycle. The role will require you to identify and manage risk associated with a range of hospitality, catering, travel and tourism contracts and work closely with the legal department based in Europe for any required sign-off or queries. Additionally, you will provide guidance and training to employees on contract management and related issues, as well as source suppliers and conduct market research to identify new and emerging products, service and technologies with high-added value for the company. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the role will require you to manage calls for tenders/requests for proposals, RFP drafts, publication, vendor selection, terms negotiation and contract signature. About you To be considered for this role, the candidate will be an experienced Contracts and Procurement professional, who has a successful track-record (minimum of 15 years) as a Contracts or Procurement Manager within an international business environment. The incumbent will have had exposure to working independently as part of a small team to manage contracts and procurement on a global scale.
