In this job, you will lead a team and be responsible for all accounting-related activities. In this role, you will be reporting to the finance director and has 5 subordinates under you. The salary range for this role includes attractive package, performance bonus and others. · Prepare financial statements, consolidation and analysis for the group of the companies. · Coordinates monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities · Ensure efficient, accurate, and timely financial results and closings on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Monthly variance analysis, preparation and review of journal entries, and preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations · Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure. Quarterly and annual audit reporting and preparation of audit schedules · Manage and supervise accounting department employees; responsible for day-to-day supervision and leadership · Maintain and oversee all accounting procedures and processes · Advise on the procedures and financial management as well as developing policies The successful candidate must have experience from an FMCG company. · Master’s degree in accounting, CPA preferred · Minimum 15 years’ experience in accounting management and consolidation · Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, standards and best practices, IFRS, GL, A/R, A/P, taxation and audits. · BOI/ Free Zone knowledge · Experiences in FMCG or Food Industry is an advantage · Strong leadership abilities including skills in training, performance management, motivation and staff development. Able to thrive in a fast-paced setting. · Excellent analytical, organisational, interpersonal, communication and team building skills · Fluent both in spoken and written English · Computer literate, proficiency in SAP
