Production Manager

PAINT PRODUCTION MANAGER UAE 1. Ensure Production processes are in place to meet Business Objectives and Operational Needs in terms of Price, Quality and Delivery targets and which enables the Company to function and compete effectively in the market 2. Develop and manage Master Production Schedule and Production Budgets for products to directly support and ensure that Product is delivered to agreed Cost, Quality and timelines. 3. Co-ordinate and manage Production on a Day to Day, Monthly and Yearly basis, ensuring best utilization of Production Capacity, Deployment of Manpower and other resources 4. Cost control in Production by controlling the use of utilities items and implementation of the same in the Cost Sheet of Products ensuring better profitability 5. Process Development, closely co-ordinating with Quality Control 6. Prepare Annual Budget of Production functions with appropriate justifications and approvals 7. Design and Implement effective maintenance schedules of Plant and Machinery for optimizing cost and minimizing downtime 8. Ensure Production Output variance is to minimum level and analyze detail Production Variances and introduce mitigation measures for reduction of same. 9. Ensure to minimize the non-value added activities related to Production mainly with respect to Process Standardization, reduction of Non-Conforming Batches and Utilization / Reprocessing of dead moving Finished Goods, Intermediates and Raw Materials with in-depth co-ordination with Technical and Purchase Teams to elevate level of Manufacturing Performance 10. Provide Cost Analysis and other Reports as required by Management for review 11. Ensure the Discharge Parameter of all equipments in Plant are within statutory limits and health and hygiene of plant personnel are well maintained 12. Ensure ESAG SAP procedures are implemented, controlled and timely monitored to record, control and monitor man-hours and materials for production and strictly comply with estimated quantities 13. Carry out Managerial responsibilities in accordance with Group Policies, Interviewing, Hiring and Training, Planning, Assigning and directing work 14. Adherence to PPE usage of the Plant personnel and ensure other Government Regulations are followed properly 15. Maintain a safe environment by assuring proper housekeeping and ensure it meets all Government Regulations as set for by ISO, Company Standards and any others that may apply. Also regularly conduct Safety Talk on the Shop-floor and promote Health and Safety awareness between employees Preferred candidate profile 1. Minimum Degree in Chemistry preferably Chemical Engineer with added qualifications in Production Management 2. Minimum 10 years of which at least 5 years in similar capacity in manufacturing organization with hands-on experience in Process Re-Engineering, Capacity Expansion and evolving effective systems on Production Shop 3.
