Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end supply chain operations for paints and coatings distribution, from plant dispatch to dealer/customer delivery Oversee warehouse and depot operations including receiving, storage, tinting bases handling, picking, packing, and dispatch Ensure proper storage, handling, and safety compliance for paints, solvents, and hazardous materials Plan and control inventory across regional depots to ensure high service levels and minimal slow/non-moving stock Manage logistics and transportation, including primary (plant to depot) and secondary (depot to dealer/project) distribution Optimize route planning, vehicle utilization, and freight costs for paint distribution Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to support promotions, seasonal demand, and new product launches Negotiate and manage contracts with transporters, 3PLs, and warehouse service providers Track and improve KPIs such as order fulfillment rate, OTIF delivery, inventory turns, warehouse productivity, and logistics cost Implement and manage ERP, WMS, and TMS systems relevant to paint distribution operations Lead and develop warehouse, logistics, and supply chain teams Develop contingency plans for demand spikes, supply disruptions, and seasonal fluctuations Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or related field Proven experience in paints, FMCG, chemicals, or building materials distribution Strong knowledge of warehouse and logistics operations for multi-SKU, fast-moving products Understanding of regulatory, safety, and environmental requirements for paints and chemicals Experience managing distributor and dealer-based supply chains Strong analytical, planning, and negotiation skills Proficiency in ERP/WMS/TMS systems Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree or professional certification (CSCP, CPIM, CLTD) Experience handling regional or national paint distribution networks
