Responsibilities § Overall responsible for heading Production, Quality & Maintenance Processes of Injection molding plant and plastics Reprocessing plant of approximately 200 workforces. § Preparation of plan/schedule for preventive maintenance of the machine & utilities. § Co-ordination with production team to ensure that the preventive maintenance is carried out as per schedule. § To follow up for immediate repair or maintenance of any major break downs in the plant on top priority to reduce down time. § To keep proper tracker of service and repair of utilities like air compressor, Generators, chillers etc. § Monitoring day to day production activities, Mould change plan as per sales team request, fixing output target on each machines and do proper analysis of major losses & CAPA. § Appropriate Polymer property knowledge to decide material usage for recycle products molding and take initiative to decide alternative material mix ratio to get better quality moldings. § To set molding process parameters on each machines for consistent production as per the target. § To establish efficient process standards and continual review by statistical process control. § To minimize variations in molding process and maximize yields to achieve higher process capability. § Monitoring continual improvement in the Cycle time, reduction in overall rejection, reduction in scrap level. Its data collection, analysis, time bound corrective & Preventive action plan. § To ensure raw material mixing done as per the standards fixed to avoid wrong mixing. § To co-ordinate in washing plant and palletizing plant to get fixed target output. § To ensure no wastage of electricity consumption, Must establish a control to save energy. § To monitor raw material inventory for both recycling process as well as for moulding process. § To monitor daily minimum stock level of all Raw materials, Masterbatces, packaging materials, consumables required to deliver a finished product to FG store. § To conduct testing of any new mould machines, new materials etc. and feedback to management on time. § Responsible to give correct production data to management i.e. Machine wise shift production report, Daily production report summary, Monthly reports to be prepared on time. § Mapping of competency and skills for different people working on the shop floor § Ensure safety of man, machine, and equipment, prevent accidents and establish system/procedure etc. to ensure the same. § Knowledge of industrial housekeeping (5’S) and daily monitoring for a well maintained shop floor. Qualifications & Skills § Diploma or CIPET (plastics engineering). § Minimum of 10 years experience working in the plastic industry with 4years working in Nigeria. § Vast experience in Plastics injection Moulding & Plastics Recycling Plant. § Complete Knowledge of Microsoft office to prepare all necessary reports for management. § Excellent leadership and management skills. § Ability to influence team members.
